Large complex growing business Flexible hybrid working $100-$120k super / 8m FTC Private Healthcare provider is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager – NSW, who will oversee the strategic and operational management of the hospitals in NSW. Commencing as a 12 month fixed term contract, this pivotal role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all physical aspects of our facilities, creating and maintaining safe, functional, and productive environments for all occupants. The role will also lead the planning, budgeting and execution of infrastructure projects including refurbishments, fit outs and facility upgrades. You will collaborate across departments to ensure the facilities meet operational needs while aligning with long-term strategic development plans. This person will consult with various internal and external stakeholders including auditors and statutory authorities to ensure compliance obligations are met. You will: Manage facility operations across multiple sites to ensure safety, compliance, and functionality Support the transition to a new Facilities Management provider. Deliver scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and condition-based asset interventions Lead the end-to-end delivery of FM projects. Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and planning regulations Engage and manage consultants, contractors, and service providers Conduct property risk assessments and oversee emergency planning Support long-term property strategy, planning and capital forecasting Maintain an asset register and contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency goals Supervise and mentor facilities staff and contribute to a safe, positive team culture Key Accountabilities Identifying and mitigating project risks and implementing effective solutions. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards. Leadership, management and coordination of all aspects relating to the direct and sub-contract Facilities Maintenance Services and subcontractors. Provide regular reporting for all stakeholders including service delivery, planning and scheduling, and KPI reporting. Responsible for the Sub-contractor SLA’s and associated HSEQ policies, procedures and systems that support a safe and professional work ethic. Capabilities for Success Identifying and assessing potential asset risks in buildings and facilities. Understanding and applying relevant building codes and standards. Communicating building safety design objectives and strategies to clients and stakeholders. Analysing facility risk scenarios and developing appropriate solutions. Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving facility safety issues. Communication: Effectively communicating facility information to various stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate design calculations and specifications. The right candidate will have previous experience managing facilities within hospitals / healthcare. This role will commence as soon as possible, commencing as an initial 12 month fixed term contract, paying circa $180,000 - $200,000 total package.
