Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers. Continuing to expand we are pleased to be recruiting for a person experienced in warehousing and customer service to be working at their Biggara Waters store. This is an all-rounder warehouse type position, someone who enjoys working as part of a small team. Responsibilities for this position include: Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately Pick, pack and prepare customer orders efficiently Assist walk-in customers with product enquiries and order fulfilment Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times Work closely with the sales team and store managers to ensure smooth daily Requirements To be considered: Valid forklift licence, drivers licence. Can drive a high reach forklift Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or building materials industry preferred Ability to provide good customer service and communicate clearly Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks Reliable, punctual and responsible Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills (for inventory and order systems) Can work on Saturdays Tiling, waterproofing or flooring experience highly desirable but not essential
