The Opportunity We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our team at the Isaac Plains Complex in the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely survey services across our mining operation, working with modern surveying technology / systems and working with the mine planning engineering team. Key Responsibilities Provide survey support across mining, infrastructure, exploration, and rehabilitation activities Maintain and update mine models and spatial data Develop and implement Mine Survey Plans Manage survey inventory systems and reporting requirements Ensure compliance with designs and statutory reporting standards Support operational teams with pit design / execution plans Support operational teams with technical investigations and analysis Assist with approvals, rehabilitation surveys, and reporting obligations About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in open cut mining survey environments Proficiency with GPS, total stations, terrestrial scanning , and survey systems Experience with Vulcan or Deswik software (highly regarded) Exposure to UAV/drone technology (advantageous) Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset A strong commitment to safety and company values Tertiary qualifications in Surveying (or equivalent) Registration (or working towards) as a Registered Surveyor will be highly regarded What We Offer Competitive salary package 8/6 lifestyle roster with flexible living options (DIDO / FIFO / Residential) Ongoing technical and professional development opportunities A supportive, down-to-earth team culture Opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, growing operation Ready to Apply?
