Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference to their quality of life! You'll have the opportunity to develop treatment programs, helping clients and residents to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include: Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive technology Education and training on aspects of therapy for carers, clients and residents Goal setting activities, as well reablement and discharge planning Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are coordinated and monitored What makes a difference for us?
