The Business Development Consultant is a crucial role responsible for acquiring and managing medium to large-sized members in WA (one regional trip per quarter). This role focuses on driving business growth by developing strong client relationships, providing right solutions, and working closely with the Head of Business Development – Key Accounts to meet revenue and retention targets. As the face of the business, the Business Development Consultant will directly interact with members to ensure their needs align with Sustainable Salons’ sustainability goals. Account Management Act as the primary contract for the assigned members and address any issues that customers raise. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring long-term partnerships. Collaborate with members to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions that align with their sustainability goals. Conduct regular check-ins with members through in-person visits to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities. Business Development Identify new opportunities for acquiring medium to large-sized members within the designated territory. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business deals. Work to exceed individual sales targets and team targets. Client Advocacy & Insights Advocate for members internally, ensuring their needs are communicated and addressed across departments. Collaborate with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to ensure service offerings are aligned with member expectations. Provide valuable feedback on member needs, trends, and market insights to support product/service development.
