While this role may be suitable for Working Holiday Visa holders seeking 88 days, this cannot be guaranteed and will depend on role eligibility and hours worked About the role As a Farm Hand, you’ll provide general labour support to the Plastic Welding team, helping keep worksites safe, tidy and running smoothly. This is an unskilled role , with training provided, and a great opportunity to gain experience working in aquaculture and marine operations. What you’ll be doing Assisting Plastic Welders with day‑to‑day tasks on marine pens Pressure washing equipment and work areas Picking up, handling and moving ropes and materials Keeping plastic waste tidy and under control on site Supporting general setup, pack‑down and site housekeeping Carrying out basic labouring tasks as directed Following safety instructions and looking out for your own safety and the safety of others What we’re looking for No formal qualifications required — training provided Physically fit and capable of manual labour Comfortable working outdoors and in marine conditions Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team Good safety awareness and a positive attitude Reliable, punctual and keen to learn Why join Huon?
