Our client is seeking an experienced Linesman to join their field team, based in Balcatta. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of delivering safe, compliant outcomes across the Western Power network. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting pole inspections (wood and metal), carrying out streetlight installations and replacements, and completing LED retrofit works in line with industry and Western Power standards. Accuracy, safety, and attention to detail are key, as you’ll be completing thorough inspections and reporting to ensure assets remain compliant and in optimal condition. What you’ll be doing: Inspecting and maintaining wooden and metal streetlight poles Completing streetlight installations, replacements, and LED retrofits Accurately recording inspection findings and completing required documentation Safely operating cherry picker trucks and other field equipment Working outdoors across various locations, meeting daily targets as part of a team What you’ll need: Certified Linesman qualification MR driver’s licence Recent experience working on the Western Power network (within the past 2 years) Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Reliable, team-focused attitude with pride in quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently without rushing the job What’s in it for you: Full-time, ongoing opportunity Bonus structure for additional work completed Stable workload within an established field team Varied outdoor work across the metro area How to apply: To complete your application for this position please click on the "APPLY" button.
