About the Role As the Maintenance Officer , you will b e responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our Cazna Gardens Residential Aged Care Home and Retirement Living Village in Sunnybank Hills . Your ability to foster strong relationship with residents, contractors and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be. Responsibilities include: Hands-on repairs and maintenance General maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves and designing garden layout Monitor stock levels of consumables and re-order where Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner About You To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have: Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience Stong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Standards.
