This is a casual role. You will help at community venues and support many different events. These include concerts, weddings, conferences, community meetings and other activities. Your duties will include: setting up rooms (tables, chairs, equipment) helping during events cleaning and packing down after events bar work and food service other tasks as required – see the position description for more details. You will help keep venues clean, safe and welcoming for all users. You will work under general instructions and as part of a team. What we offer Pay rates: Weekdays - Depending on your age, you will be paid between $22.68 and $34.88 gross per hour (before tax) (which includes 25% casual loading). Saturdays / Sundays – Depending on your age, you will be paid between $31.75 and $48.84 per hour before tax (which includes 25% casual loading and 150% weekend penalty rates). Superannuation is paid at up to 12.65% (depending on your age). Variety of locations: Work is available at our venues in Highfields, Oakey and Toowoomba (including Toowoomba & Highfields Library Community Rooms, Highfields Cultural Centre, City Hall, the Annex, the Goods Shed and Oakey Cultural Centre). You do not need to work at every location — tell us which ones suits you. Flexible working hours - This is a flexible casual role. Shifts are available during the day, at night and on weekends. Work hours change each week. This role can suit students or anyone balancing other commitments. Tell us your availability and we will try to match shifts to suit you. What you'll bring RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) ‘Statement of Attainment’ Certificate or the ability to obtain within 3 months of commencement. Excellent customer service skills.
