Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing Location: Officer Night Shift | Full-Time Permanent $65-$67 per hour (inclusive of shift loading) Super Overtime Salary Review A leading food manufacturing company based in Officer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a full-time permanent Night shift. The Role This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for both preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance across production equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring plant uptime, efficiency, and safe operation. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, and valves Carry out mill and lathe work where required Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime About You Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Mechanical or equivalent) Minimum 4 years’ experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment Strong experience with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics Mill and lathe experience would be highly regarded Hands-on, reliable, and proactive with a strong safety mindset Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Welding or fabrication experience highly regarded Forklift licence preferred but not essential Consultant joachim.wood@coretalent.com.au Reference number: BH-24139 Profession:ManufacturingTrades & Services Company: Core Talent Date posted: 13th May, 2026
