Full time temporary employment for 6 months project based in Merriwa NSW Monday to Friday roster, 7am starts, Saturday overtime opportunities Accommodation and meals provided, competitive hourly rates Fitness Passport membership, enjoy access to gyms and fitness facilities across the country Why you’ll love working here Safety-first environment where your wellbeing is the priority Modern fleet, supportive team, and strong safety culture Competitive working hours with overtime potential What you’ll be doing Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work environment What you’ll bring A valid HC license, Heave Combination Experience driving Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations is preferred Waste management experience (advantageous but not essential) Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management Who we are REMONDIS Australia is part of a global leader in sustainable waste and water management.
