Role Purpose These roles support the daily operations of Country Fruit Distributors (Bathurst) by ensuring produce is received, stored, handled, delivered, displayed, and sold in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner. The positions contribute to business performance by maintaining product quality, supporting reliable distribution, managing store operations, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food handling, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Storeperson Receive, inspect, and store incoming fruit, vegetables, and related stock. Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch or store use. Maintain clean, safe, and organised storage, cool room, and warehouse areas. Monitor stock rotation, expiry dates, and product quality to reduce waste. Record stock movements and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies. Delivery Driver Deliver produce and customer orders safely, accurately, and on schedule. Load and unload vehicles while protecting product quality and presentation. Complete delivery documentation, invoices, and customer confirmations. Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety issues. Follow road safety, manual handling, and food transport requirements. Retail Manager Oversee daily retail operations, staff performance, and customer service standards. Manage stock presentation, pricing, merchandising, and product availability. Monitor sales, wastage, stock levels, and operational performance. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally. Support compliance with workplace safety, food handling, and company procedures. What We Are Looking For Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, delivery, fresh produce, or a related environment. Relevant qualification such as a Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or higher in retail, business, logistics, supply chain, hospitality, management, or another relevant field. Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow workplace health and safety, food safety, manual handling, and operational procedures.
