The Riley Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join its dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in line with venue standards Assisting with menu planning, seasonal specials and food development Monitoring food preparation and portion control to maintain consistency and quality Ensuring all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy service periods Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen hygiene Supervising and assisting junior kitchen staff where required Managing stock rotation, food storage and minimising wastage Ordering and receiving food supplies and kitchen ingredients Working collaboratively with management and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety and food handling regulations Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant, pub, hotel or hospitality venue Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Chef to become part of a professional hospitality team within a well-regarded venue.
