They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. About the Role: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and legislative requirements. Maintain payroll records and process payroll transactions, including new starters, terminations, leave, allowances, overtime, and payroll adjustments. Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and managers, providing accurate advice and exceptional customer service. Perform payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities while identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency. Work closely with HR, Finance, and operational teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date across multiple sites. Support a fast-paced transport and logistics operation where accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting payroll deadlines are essential. Skills and Experience Proven ability to process end-to-end payroll accurately and within strict deadlines. Proficiency using large ERP payroll systems, with MicrOpay experience highly regarded. Familiarity with ConnX Time & Attendance is advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business. Strong understanding of interpreting complex Awards, Enterprise Agreements (EBAs), and relevant payroll legislation.
