About the role Join the team at the new Nowra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic! We are offering flexible hours to work on a casual basis. Availability for Monday day shifts, between 8am to 3pm (with flexibility), is highly desired. The service operates outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays, from 8:00am-10:00pm, seven days a week. Doctors currently completing Fellowship requirements and close to achieving vocational registration are also welcome to apply. Conduct patient assessments, diagnosing, and initiating appropriate treatment, ensuring effective management of urgent medical needs. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and escalate cases Ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care within the healthcare system. Skills & Experience Current AHPRA Registration without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands Vocational registration as a General Practitioner (FRACGP, FARGP, or FACRRM) Experience working in an Emergency Department, Rural General Practice, or Urgent Care Clinic Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/ or Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate About Grand Pacific Health What we care about most is supporting healthier, happier, more connected communities across NSW and the ACT.
