The Role This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance across production equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and safe operation. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, and valves Carry out general mechanical maintenance and repairs Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime About You Previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG Cert III in Mechanical/Fitting & Turning highly regarded but not essential Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred Reliable, hands-on, and proactive with a strong safety focus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Welding, fabrication, or forklift licence experience highly regarded but not essential Consultant david.ayre@coretalent.com.au Reference number: BH-26537 Profession:ManufacturingTrades & Services Company: Core Talent Date posted: 27th May, 2026
