This role focuses on delivering high-quality training and support to operational staff, including onboarding, driver assessments, and regulatory compliance training across Load Restraint, Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility, Defensive Driving and Manual Handling. You’ll play a critical role in helping people thrive in their roles, while continuing to grow in yours. The Role: Based in Brisbane, with occasional travel across SEQ and interstate support as required Deliver group and one-on-one training, both on-site and on-road Provide coaching in key operational areas including chain of responsibility, fatigue management, and compliance Complete pre-employment assessments for drivers and forklift operators Conduct verification of competency (VOC) assessments for the operational team Support team members in understanding and applying policies, NHVR regulations, and WHS legislation Work collaboratively with branch leaders to support staff development and capability Be part of a national Learning & Development team that shares knowledge and supports growth What Makes You a Great Fit: You’re a natural relationship builder who thrives on helping others succeed. You are happy to travel when required and value being on the ground with the team Qualifications What You’ll Need: At least 1 year of operational experience in the heavy vehicle industry Must have Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) A current MC Licence and forklift Licence No training experience needed, we’ll provide the tools and support A genuine interest in developing others and being a role model Great communication skills, both written and verbal Hold or willing to obtain: Cert III in Driver Operations (TLI31222) or Supply Chain Ops (TLI30319) Cert IV in Transport & Logistics (TLI41310 – Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction) What You’ll Get: Comprehensive training and qualifications to support your success A supportive culture that values people and rewards effort Workplace Benefits Program providing discounts to many major retailers.
