Our client is a well-established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Factory Supervisor / Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing people, driving productivity, and improving operational performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved while contributing to the ongoing growth of the business. About the Role Reporting to senior management, you will oversee all aspects of factory operations, ensuring efficient workflow, strong team performance, and high-quality output. You will be responsible for coordinating production activities, managing resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. Responsibilities Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and production operations Manage production schedules and workflow to ensure deadlines are achieved Lead, train, and support production staff across the factory Promote a positive, productive, and safety-focused culture Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when required Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements Manage inventory levels, materials, and supplier coordination Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational outcomes and customer delivery requirements Your Profile To be successful in this role, you will possess: Previous experience in a Factory Supervisor or Factory Manager position Experience working with Capral Aluminium systems and products Strong leadership and people management skills Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and production planning Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements Ability to read and interpret production drawings Experience operating or overseeing machinery such as punch machines, routers, and CNC equipment Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills A hands-on approach with a focus on quality, efficiency, and results Highly Regarded: Experience within the window, door, aluminium fabrication, or glazing industry Forklift licence Exposure to ERP or production management systems Trade or technical background If you're an experienced manufacturing leader looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
