The Role Lead the design and delivery of building structures projects across Defence, Data Centres, Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors Take ownership of projects from concept design through to construction support while remaining hands-on technically Work closely with clients, architects and contractors to deliver high-quality project outcomes Opportunity to be based from either the Sydney CBD or Newcastle office Responsibilities Lead structural projects and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle Remain actively involved in structural design, technical review and problem solving Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact across projects Mentor and support engineers and drafters within the team Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal disciplines to ensure successful project delivery Assist with project planning, resourcing and the ongoing growth of the structural team Requirements Current Principal Structural Engineer or Senior Associate/Associate ready to step into a Principal role Experience leading projects and managing engineering teams within a consultancy environment Strong building structures design experience within an Australian consultancy Experience across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, Defence or Data centre projects Strong communication and client-facing skills Full Australian working rights This is an outstanding opportunity to further your career with a consultancy who truly value their employees and who offer a long-term stable career.
