Benefits: 70% billings $180/hr guarantee for first 3 months 75% of billings ongoing for doctors providing supervision Relocation assistance available Established patient base - fully booked from day one High earning potential - $3,000 billings per day Flexible working pace with ability to manage own schedule Supportive, collegial doctor group with regular social catch-ups and meetings On-site parking available Long-standing clinic with strong community reputation and demand exceeding capacity The Clinic & Role: Privately billing general practice with strong patient demand Currently 7 GPs (mix of full-time and part-time; ~4.5 FTE) Full patient book awaits an incoming doctor - clinic has overwhelming patient demand Significant patient overflow due to: Recent GP director retirement (patients redistributed) One GP on extended leave Another GP relocating later this year 9 consulting rooms 4 treatment rooms (1 bed each) allowing simultaneous procedures Two nurse stations 3 experienced nurses providing consistent clinical support Nurses manage care plans and chronic disease plans for doctors Reception team: clinic manager and two administrative staff Best Practice software Patient demographics: All age groups Strong representation of pensioners, ATSI patients, children under 15, chronic care and general family medicine Fully accredited clinic Pathology next door and nearby pharmacy within walking distance Functional, established premises with strong operational workflow You: MBBS or equivalent Current AHPRA registration FRACGP Comfortable working in a busy, high-demand environment Interested in established patient base with strong billing potential Collaborative and team-oriented, values friendly practice culture Open to mixed or predominantly private billing environment Able to work independently while supported by experienced nursing and admin teams Interested in long-term clinic growth and patient continuity Supervising GPs welcomed with enhanced percentage incentive (up to 75%) If you are interested in this position or would like to hear about our many other opportunities across Cairns or further afield across Queensland, please call Laura on 0402 207 036 or send your CV to l.curtin@ensurehealth.com.au.
