Site Engineer – Contract | Tier 2 Builder | $100M Residential Project | Newcastle | ASAP Start A leading Tier 2 construction company is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a major $100M residential development in Newcastle. This is an immediate start contract role offering the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with strong site leadership and delivery teams. The Role As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting site delivery, ensuring construction works are executed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and subcontractors to drive efficient project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist with the coordination and delivery of site works across multiple packages Interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation Support setting out, surveying, and quality assurance activities Monitor subcontractor performance and progress against programme Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and site safety standards Manage site documentation, RFIs, and technical queries Assist with procurement coordination and material tracking Support defect identification and resolution processes Contribute to short-term planning and daily site reporting About You Previous experience as a Site Engineer on commercial or residential construction projects Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders preferred Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site coordination Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment What’s on Offer Contract role with immediate start Opportunity to work on a landmark $100M residential project Exposure to a well-structured Tier 2 builder environment Supportive site team and strong project pipeline If you're a Site Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity on a major Newcastle project, we’d love to hear from you.
