We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our growing team and contribute to the continued success of our kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities ·Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in accordance with menu standards. ·Develop and assist in creating new menu items and seasonal specials. ·Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation. ·Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality control. ·Manage kitchen stock levels, ordering, and inventory control. ·Minimise food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen operations. ·Supervise and train kitchen staff where required. ·Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements. ·Ensure cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas. ·Work collaboratively with management to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Skills & Experience ·The successful applicant will possess: ·Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management, or equivalent qualification. ·Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef. ·Experience preparing Asian, Filipino, barbecue, grilled, or charcoal-cooked dishes will be highly regarded. ·Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. ·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ·Excellent organisational and time management skills. ·Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. ·Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work within a team.
