Full Time – 38 hours per week Location of Work - 485 Partridge Road, Togari, TAS 7330 Salary – 77,000 to 82,000 Per annum plus superannuation About Us CJ and CL Brown are seeking a motivated and reliable Dairy Cattle Farmer to join our team on a full-time basis in Togari, Tasmania. This is a full-time ongoing position available for immediate commencement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dairy farming experience who is passionate about animal welfare, cattle handling, and working in a productive pasture-based farming environment. The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day care of dairy cattle, including milking, feeding, and general husbandry activities, while supporting the smooth operation of the farm. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily dairy farming activities including milking, feeding, and routine cattle care Milk dairy cattle and ensure milk quality and hygiene standards are maintained Feed livestock and provide water to support animal health and production Move and handle cattle safely for milking, feeding, and grazing purposes Monitor livestock condition and report any signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behaviour Assist with calving and basic reproduction-related tasks as required Clean, sanitise, and maintain milking equipment and dairy facilities Maintain fences, sheds, water systems, and other farm structures Assist with pasture maintenance activities including weed control and fertiliser application Support basic livestock health and husbandry practices Record routine livestock and milking information as required Assist with general farm duties to support daily operations Skills and Experience To be considered for this role, you should have: AQF Certificate III or higher qualification in Agriculture, Dairy Production or a related field, together with at least one year of recent and relevant experience in dairy farming.
