About the Role We are seeking a School Application and Data Manager to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity, with the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements. This role is suited to an individual with a good understanding of education who is passionate about improving how schools operate through better use of applications and data. You will take ownership of how our school-based applications and data systems support teaching, learning, and school operations - ensuring they are practical, intuitive, and aligned with the real needs of teachers, administrators, and school leaders. Working in close partnership with schools, you will develop a deep understanding of how systems are used in day-to-day practice. You’ll identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen the quality and use of data to support better decisions and outcomes for students. You will lead the ongoing success of our applications and data environment, translating school and organisational priorities into a clear, achievable roadmap of improvements. This includes balancing compliance and reliability with usability, engagement, and impact. Drawing on both your educational insight and technical experience, you will guide decision-making, prioritise enhancements, and build confidence across the organisation - empowering school staff to use systems and data effectively and meaningfully. Key Responsibilities include: Partner with business and school leaders, teachers, and administrators to understand how systems support teaching, learning, and operations in practice Translate school and organisational priorities into a clear roadmap of system and data improvements Lead the coordination and delivery of enhancements across applications, data, and reporting with a strong focus on usability and impact Strengthen data quality and promote effective use of data to inform school and organisational decision-making Oversee reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of both internal insights and external regulatory requirements Support the successful use of a range of applications and processes through practical guidance and communication Build capability across the organisation, supporting staff to confidently engage with systems and use data meaningfully Values and Benefits Our values play a critical role in cultivating culture. Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check). Valid driver licence. Right to work in Australia. Demonstrated commitment to The Industry School values Desirable Tertiary qualification in Information Management, Education, or a related field. Experience in senior secondary education environments and/or RTOs. Experience working within regulatory and compliance frameworks.
