AO6 Project Manager – Building Construction & Maintenance QLD Government $79.17 per hour superannuation Initial 6-month contract with highly likely rolling contract extension About the Role: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to deliver end-to-end building and construction projects within a government environment. This role plays a key part in supporting industry capability through the provision of high-quality project management services, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all phases of project delivery including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities Oversee project teams, consultants, contractors & internal stakeholders Manage contracts across traditional and non-traditional delivery methods Ensure projects meet scope, time, cost, cash flow, and quality requirements Maintain strong day-to-day stakeholder engagement with clients and project teams Lead negotiations with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes Monitor project performance, manage risks and variances and prepare reporting as required Support financial management activities including fee estimation and client billing processes Ensure quality assurance procedures and compliance standards are consistently met About You: Demonstrated experience managing building or construction projects end-to-end Experience working within client-side construction, government, or highly regulated environments Strong contract administration and stakeholder engagement experience Ability to coordinate multiple project streams and manage competing priorities Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or similar (highly regarded) Apply: To be considered for this position, please apply directly below, with an updated CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
