We’re currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and resilient candidate to support our male participants with ASD Level 3, complex behaviours and high support needs. The role requires a calm, confident support worker who can provide consistent structure, emotional regulation support, and safe, proactive behaviour management. About the Role You will provide support that promotes safety, independence, and emotional stability for participant’s with complex behavioural needs. This includes personal care, meal preparation, and supporting participant’s to build predictable routines, healthy habits, and meaningful daily structure. You will play a role in implementing behaviour support strategies, maintaining a regulated home environments, and ensure participant’s feel supported both at home and in the community. Key Accountabilities Work as one team Support with daily living tasks and personal care Implement behaviour support strategies and uphold safety plans Prepare nutritious meals and support healthy routines Maintain structure, predictability, and emotional regulation Support the development of independent living skills Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting Required Certifications NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) Working with Children Check NDIS Orientation Module First Aid and CPR Certificate Australian Driver’s Licence Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance Essential Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in support work, mental health, behaviour support, disability, community services, or a related field. Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, including high intensity or escalated presentations Confidence implementing behaviour support plans and de escalation strategies Ability to remain calm, grounded, and solutions focused under pressure Desirable (but not mandatory) Maybo Training – Positive Behaviour Support or similar Key Attributes Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to coordinate daily routines and household tasks Proactive and solutions focused Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills Comfortable using technology and basic software applications Empathetic, patient, and committed to participant wellbeing Why Join Us?
