What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Supportive team environment Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities Opportunity to grow within a reputable manufacturing business Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components Measure, cut, and prepare materials to required dimensions Ensure weld quality meets Australian standards and project requirements Operate fabrication machinery (grinders, drills, cutting tools, etc.) Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment Follow workplace health & safety (WHS) regulations at all times Inspect completed work for accuracy and structural integrity Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a MIG Welder in fabrication (minimum 2–3 years preferred) Ability to read and understand technical drawings Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials Experience with structural steel or sheet metal fabrication Good attention to detail and workmanship quality Ability to work independently and within a team Strong commitment to safety standards Qualifications Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade) Welding certifications Interested candidates click on the “APPLY NOW” button and submit your full updated resume online.
