Milestone IT is exclusively partnering with a leading, large-scale enterprise client to secure a highly capable IT Infrastructure Project Manager . Reporting directly to the Project Management Lead and the GM of IT Infrastructure, this is a pivotal role where you will drive complex initiatives that span across multiple lines of business. You will be the driving force behind technology delivery, ensuring all projects are completed successfully, delivered on time, within budget, and exceed stakeholder expectations. What You Will Be Doing As the driving force behind the client's infrastructure delivery, you will manage multiple IT infrastructure projects and teams concurrently, providing both on-site and remote leadership. Your day-to-day will involve: Project Leadership: Developing and maintaining comprehensive project management plans and MS Project documents to guide complex initiatives. End-to-End Delivery: Managing all aspects of project engagement, from planning, budgeting, and resourcing to external vendor relationships and change management. Risk & Quality Management: Tracking project progress, proactively identifying risks and issues, and managing ongoing quality control to ensure seamless resolution. Stakeholder Engagement: Providing up-to-date status reports regarding milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to leadership teams and sponsors. Continuous Improvement: Introducing best practices in project delivery, network, and infrastructure capabilities to mature the organization's technological landscape. Team Mentorship: Fostering a collaborative environment by building, motivating, and guiding project team members through their allocated tasks and responsibilities. What You Will Bring to the Role To be successful in this position, you will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on, practical approach and a strong desire to achieve results. You will also possess: Experience & Technical Skills: A minimum of 10 years of proven experience working as a Project or Program Manager. A minimum of 7 years of specific experience in Network and Infrastructure design and implementation. Mandatory, hands-on experience working across both Azure and GCP cloud platforms. Referenceable experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects, including data centre setup/migration, cloud migration, and backup & redundancy solutions. Expertise in implementing device encryption and security features (e.g., BitLocker, PKI/cryptography, digital policies, and certificates). An advanced understanding of the SDLC and top-tier project management methodologies (Prince, PMBOK). Proficiency with modern project management and Agile delivery tools, including MS Project. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or an equivalent field) is highly ideal. One or more relevant industry certifications: MS Core Infrastructure (MCSE, MTA), Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A, CompTIA Network, ISACA-ITCA, PMP, or Prince 2.
