We’re looking for a Counter Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—you’ll be supporting customers, processing sales, and helping keep branch operations running smoothly. About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join their team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality customer service while supporting the daily operations of a busy branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with product enquiries, processing sales, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales experience. Key Responsibilities Provide prompt, professional, and friendly customer service Assist customers with product selection and technical enquiries Process sales transactions, quotations, orders, and invoices Maintain strong product knowledge across industrial products Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams for order fulfilment Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control Maintain a clean, safe, and organised branch environment Build and maintain strong customer relationships Assist with receipting stock and general branch duties Follow workplace health & safety policies and procedures Skills & Experience Previous experience in counter sales, customer service, or industrial sales (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Good computer and administrative skills High attention to detail and strong organisational ability Positive attitude and willingness to learn Desirable: Forklift licence Knowledge of industrial hose, fittings, hydraulics, or similar products About You Reliable, punctual, and professional Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset Able to work independently and as part of a team Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing training and product development Stable, long-term employment opportunity Career growth potential within the business How to Apply Submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.
