Expression of Interest – Disability Support Workers (High Intensity/Complex Care) | Gippsland Region CareChoice is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Disability Support Workers across the Gippsland region who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to people with complex support needs. We are looking to connect with dedicated support workers who have experience working with participants requiring complex physical care, behavioural support and high intensity supports. About the Opportunity As part of the CareChoice team, you may provide support across a variety of settings including: Supported Independent Living 24/7 Complex Supports Community access and participation High intensity and behavioural support environments Transitional and capacity-building supports What We’re Looking For We’re seeking support workers who have: Experience supporting people with complex physical and/or behavioural needs A person-centred and trauma-informed approach to care Strong communication and problem-solving skills Flexibility and reliability Confidence working independently and as part of a team Essential Requirements Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or similar Current First Aid and CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check Employee Working with Children Check Current Victorian Driver’s Licence Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle Candidates with Nursing backgrounds or experience in high intensity supports are strongly encouraged to apply.
