Please note that this rotating roster includes weekend work, with employees typically working approximately 2 weekends per month as part of the roster cycle. The benefit of this schedule is that weekend shifts attract generous penalty rates: ✔ Saturday Shifts – 1.5x Penalty Rates ✔ Sunday Shifts – 2.0x Penalty Rates Combined with the built-in extended breaks throughout the roster, this provides an excellent balance between earning potential and time off. About the Role This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving the production, assembly, and testing of water filtration components. You'll be working within a busy production environment operating machinery, monitoring processes, recording production data, and supporting various areas of the manufacturing plant. Safety is critical in this role, as you'll be working around machinery and in areas with high levels of foot traffic. The role can be physically demanding and may involve: Manual handling Repetitive tasks Working at or above shoulder height Lifting and moving components Standing for extended periods Key Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently Follow work instructions and production procedures Assemble and test water filtration components Monitor machinery and production processes Record production readings and data accurately using software systems Perform quality checks on finished products Safely use machinery, tools, and production equipment Assist across different areas of the production facility as required Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment Contribute to a positive team culture and safety-first mindset What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll ideally possess: Essential Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment Experience operating machinery or production equipment Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Reliable transport and ability to work rotating day/night shifts Full working rights within Australia Highly Regarded Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Experience working within fast-paced production environments High attention to detail and quality standards Ability to adapt and learn new processes quickly Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required Training & Development Full on-the-job training will be provided across machinery, systems, and site-specific procedures.
