We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our busy General Practice conveniently located next to the interchange at Wickham. The position is flexible, and we are happy to offer school hours to the right candidate. We would like a Practice Nurse who is passionate about Primary Health Care Nursing and assisting our GPs in all areas in the clinic. The Role: Tasks will include but are not limited to: Performing health assessments Minor surgical procedures- wound dressings, suture removals etc. Administering vaccines Arranging care plans Patient health education Providing education and guidance on preventative health measures Supporting elderly patients by providing vaccination information and immunisation awareness Providing education and support for people living with disabilities Required Knowledge and Experience: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Background working in General Practice Desirable Skills: Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments The ability to perform all general practice nurse duties, such as immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing etc Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with the skills to prioritise workloads Ability to manage within a workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand Experience with Best Practice (an advantage) About Us: Our team is a family friendly clinic with a pleasant and supportive environment.
