Full Job Description Engineering Trades Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Brisbane electrical contractor for an experienced Commercial Fit-Out Electrician . We are looking for a tradesperson who understands the fast-paced nature of the shopfitting and commercial fit-out industry and can confidently work across a variety of retail and commercial projects throughout Brisbane. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a company that has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail, hospitality and commercial fit-outs across South East Queensland and beyond. About the Role You'll be working across a range of commercial and retail fit-out projects, from smaller 80-hour jobs through to larger projects exceeding 300 labour hours. Projects are located throughout Brisbane, with occasional interstate or regional work required. Retail and shop fit-out electrical installations Commercial tenancy fit-outs and refurbishments Power, lighting and switchboard installations Data and communications installations Fit-off, testing, commissioning and fault finding Working closely with builders, project managers and other trades Occasionally, you may be required to travel away for projects, typically every 3-4 months for approximately 4 days at a time. What We're Looking For Current QLD Electrical Licence Proven retail / Commercial fit out experience Strong understanding of fit-out project sequencing and deadlines Ability to work independently and within a team environment Experience with data and communications installations highly regarded Requirements QLD Electrical Licence Current CPR & LVR Construction White Card Current Driver's Licence Ability to travel occasionally for project work If you're an experienced fit-out electrician who understands the demands of retail and commercial projects and is looking for a long-term opportunity, apply now for immediate consideration or send your resume to hannah.fox@etagroup.com.au
