Groundline is now seeking both an Intermediate and Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join the business on a full-time permanent basis (40 minimum guaranteed hours per week). These roles will suit engineers who enjoy real technical work and want to contribute within a highly capable team delivering transmission infrastructure and renewable energy connection projects across a rapidly evolving energy sector. You’ll be involved in: overhead transmission line design tower and pole analysis foundation design construction staging assessments and advanced modelling using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER. Remuneration Intermediate Engineer: NZD $100,000 – $130,000 per annum Senior Engineer: NZD $140,000 – $160,000 per annum All Engineers are also eligible for an invitation to participate in the Groundline annual profit-sharing scheme. This role will be based in the New Zealand office, located in Christchurch. Qualifications and Experience Required Engineering Degree - Civil, Structural or Mechanical or similar. 7 years (Senior) or 4 years (Intermediate) relevant experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure or similar. 4 years (Senior) or 2 years (Intermediate) specialist expertise in a relevant area of transmission design (e.g. line design, foundation design, structure design (towers & poles).
