The Senior Ranger position oversees 13 staff managing 289,866ha of parks. Key tasks are program delivery, budgets, contracts, & stakeholder liaison. The Ideal Candidate: Displays a passion for protected area management, conservation, and natural resource management. Demonstrates strong leadership, effectively planning, prioritising, and managing multiple programs and tasks across large or dispersed areas. Builds and maintains effective relationships, supporting, supervising, and sharing skills with a diverse team. Acts with integrity and professionalism, with knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulatory frameworks. Communicates clearly and effectively, tailoring messages to audiences and managing stakeholder expectations. Has sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, compliance, emergency response, and business management processes (HR, financial, and reporting).
