We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel and ensure high standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and staff performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accommodation services, supervising employees, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the overall daily operations of the motel including reception, reservations, housekeeping, and maintenance. Supervise and coordinate front office activities including guest check-in/check-out procedures and booking management. Monitor room occupancy, rates, and revenue performance to maximise profitability. Recruit, train, supervise, and roster staff members to ensure efficient operations and quality customer service. Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction. Oversee housekeeping standards, property presentation, and maintenance requirements. Manage purchasing, stock control, supplier relationships, and operational budgets. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and motel policies. Prepare operational reports, maintain records, and monitor financial performance. Coordinate with contractors and service providers regarding repairs and property maintenance. Promote motel services and assist with local tourism information and guest travel arrangements when required. Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in motel, hotel, or accommodation management. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Experience with reservation systems, front office operations, and staff management. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment including weekends and public holidays.
