Our client a leading Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical systems supplier are currently recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to join the team based at their Tullamarine Workshop. The workshop supervisor is required to oversees the day-to-day operations the workshop, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work. Prioritising urgent breakdown repairs. Allocating jobs to technicians and tradespeople based on skills and workload. Monitoring progress to minimise downtime. Leading maintenance technicians. Providing technical guidance and support. Monitoring productivity and workmanship. Training and mentoring staff. Enforcing workplace health and safety procedures. Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Ensuring repairs meet quality and reliability standards. Investigating recurring equipment failures and implementing improvements. Managing spare parts inventory and ordering materials. Coordinating with suppliers and contractors when needed. Maintaining maintenance records and work orders. Assisting with budgeting and resource planning. About you Strong maintenance supervisor background. Mechanical trade qualified Leadership and team management experience. Knowledge of maintenance planning systems Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or asset maintenance practices.
