Silverstrand is seeking multiple experienced Plant Operators to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. Multiple Locations - Caboolture, Brisbane, Gold Coast & Ipswich. Multiple Roles - Excavator Operators, HR Drivers, Roller Operators. Operating 14T - 38T Machines, Final Trim works, GPS use (Topcon/ Trimble), Benching/ shoring, Loading/ unloading trucks, Bulk earthworks, Trenching, etc. This role is responsible for (but not limited to): Excavator Operations - trench work, back filling, GPS and final trim work HR Operations - Hauling, Tipper work, Watercart, Labouring, etc Roller Operations - Roller Labouring. Ability to work directly from plans Safely dogging suspended loads accurately Rigging and securing loads for excavator placements Working safely around high-risk machinery General labouring and trade assistant work as required Ability to read and understand plans Ensuring compliance with site safety & environmental requirements Skills/Experience required: Excavator/ Roller RII Ticket Construction Induction White Card Minimum 5 years proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects Other machine tickets desirable - (HR, Skid steer, Roller, etc) Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team Strong safety initiative Have excellent communication skills Positive attitude and approachable demeanor What’s on offer Competitive rates based on the successful candidate’s experience A variety of work along the Southeast Queensland region About Us Silverstrand is a privately owned company that provides high-quality civil engineering and construction services across Australia and New Zealand.
