The Opportunity Join a market-leading financial services organisation undergoing a major Data & AI transformation. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and enhancing a modern Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform that supports enterprise analytics, AI, and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. Build and maintain Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions. Develop ELT/ETL processes using Fabric Data Factory, Spark, SQL, and Python. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across the platform. Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver data products. Support AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases through trusted and accessible data assets. Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices to improve deployment and platform reliability. Skills & Experience 5 years' experience in Data Engineering within enterprise environments. Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. Strong experience with ADLS2, ADF, Azure Devops. Advanced SQL and Python skills. Experience building modern cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and warehouses. Knowledge of data modelling, governance, and engineering best practices. Nice to have Experience in Financial Services environments is highly regarded.
