Salesforce Developer Sydney | Fully Remote | 12-Month Contract (opportunity to extend) A highly regarded government body is seeking a Salesforce Developer / Tester to join a growing technology team delivering large-scale Salesforce transformation and enhancement initiatives. This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative Agile environment where you will play a key role in improving and stabilising a complex Salesforce ecosystem, supporting major platform enhancements, integrations, and ongoing development initiatives. The environment has undergone significant transformation and the team is now focused on modernising architecture, improving system reliability, and driving best-practice development across the platform. You will work closely with Developers, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and external vendors to deliver scalable and high-quality Salesforce solutions. The Opportunity You will be involved across: Salesforce development and enhancement projects Apex and Lightning development Troubleshooting and resolving complex platform issues Working through a substantial Jira delivery backlog Supporting integrations and API connectivity Post-deployment testing and quality assurance CI/CD and release management processes Contributing to ongoing migration work from Salesforce Classic to Lightning This role offers a strong mix of hands-on engineering, problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone with: 3–6 years’ Salesforce development experience Strong Apex development capability Experience with Lightning Components / Lightning migration Exposure to REST APIs and enterprise integrations Strong Jira and Confluence experience Understanding of testing frameworks and deployment validation Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams Experience working within complex or legacy environments will be highly regarded.
