Cafe Lewi is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Front of House staff to join our team. As a member of our Front of House team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment. Your role will involve greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverage Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, assist them with menu choices, and ensure they have a positive experience from start to finish. Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take and process customer orders, ensuring that orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista team. Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all items are presented beautifully and in line with Café Lewi’s standards. Table Management: Set up and clear tables, assist in maintaining an organised dining area, and ensure a comfortable environment for customers. Cash Handling: Process payments using the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and provide change as necessary. Cleaning and Organising: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, ensure high standards of cleanliness are upheld throughout the shift. Customer Feedback: Address customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Escalate any issues to the Café Owner if needed. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service. Help other staff members as required. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices and maintaining a clean and safe environment. RSA service. Be able to obtain or already have an RSA for serving alcohol and alcohol beverages.
