Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices within the department. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress, addressing any concerns as necessary. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Recognised Australian teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Diploma in Education) and a current NESA accreditation number. Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in a classroom setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
