Moonee Valley Specialist Centre is a busy, well-established gastroenterology practice seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations. Reporting to the two Directors, the Practice Manager will oversee the operational, financial and people management functions of the practice. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will hit the ground running from day one in this fast-paced, high-intensity role. Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Overseeing day-to-day operations of a busy specialist practice Coordinating theatre lists, procedure bookings and patient workflows Managing reception and nursing support teams, including rostering Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management Liaising with patients, clinicians, health funds and external providers Utilising Genie and HotDoc to optimise systems and processes Contributing to practice growth, marketing and wellness service expansion About You: We are now seeking a Practice Manager with proven experience running a busy specialist medical practice (not GP). You will have demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume Specialist practice with minimal supervision, be a fast and efficient learner with exceptional time management and have proven staff management skills. Strong leadership experience developing and mentoring teams, and enjoy problem-solving, initiating ideas to improve workflows, increase revenue, and decrease costs. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional, positive approach. Proficiency (or very quick to master) in Gentu, Healthengine, Square, Stripe, and Microsoft systems The Offer On offer is the opportunity to join this dynamic practice with a competitive salary of $100k - $120k super (dep on exp), uniform and laptop provided.
