Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team. About the Role As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made from timber, plywood, and other materials. You will work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Repair and renovate existing structures as required. Construct wall frames, roof trusses, flooring systems, and other structural components. Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades on-site. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and workplace safety standards. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other building materials. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, cladding, and other fixtures. Carry out formwork, framing, and finishing carpentry tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Qualifications & Experience Relevant trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate IV in Carpentry or equivalent). Minimum 1 year of relevant carpentry experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good understanding of construction methods and building regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
