As a Senior DevOps Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in this transformation. You will design, implement, and optimize infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to improve reliability, performance, and delivery velocity. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our platform in modern ecosystems. Position Reports To: Senior Software Engineering Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Develop, maintain and migrate build scripts using Groovy, or other scripting languages to improve operational efficiency. Automate, manage and optimize Jenkins infrastructure ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Maintain and enhance build environments, including deployments, scaling, and monitoring. Manage and optimize Git repositories and branching strategies for efficient development workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployments and performance. Implement DevSec Ops practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management and compliance monitoring across CI/CD pipelines. Required Qualifications: 8 years of software engineering experience Expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation. Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, scaling, and deployment. Strong scripting skills in Groovy or similar languages. Solid understanding of Linux system administration and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, less-defined projects. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ensure proper versioning and dependency management. Establish best practices for publishing, retrieving, and archiving artifacts. Enforce dependency version control strategies (e.g., snapshot vs. release versions). Clean up unused or outdated artifacts to optimize storage. Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other automation tools. Automate artifact publishing and retrieval in build and deployment workflows. Troubleshoot build failures related to dependency issues. Optimize dependency resolution times and caching mechanisms. Preferred Qualifications: Maintain Experience in maintaining build infrastructure, Jenkins build nodes and related tools, including compilers and runtime libraries on Windows, Linux and z/OS. Maintain security scan (Blackduck, Polaris) and code signing facilities on those build nodes. Manage Artifactory repository infrastructures, dependencies, and accesses Support release rollout processes. Be able to support Windows, Linux, z/OS build nodes. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments. Familiarity with database management and optimization. Experience with observability tools and performance tuning.
