SBA is looking for a Hatchery and Transport Administrator to join our team and support the smooth, accurate and compliant running of our transport and hatchery operations. This is a key coordination role within our logistics and hatchery teams — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and keeping operations moving seamlessly. About the Role In this cross‑functional position, you’ll manage day‑to‑day transport coordination while also providing administrative support to the hatchery when required. You’ll be the central point for scheduling, communication, documentation and compliance across both areas. No two days look the same — you’ll be planning transport schedules, updating customers, supporting hatchery documentation, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring all operational data is accurate and up to date. What You’ll Be Doing Transport Coordination Plan and manage daily transport schedules Allocate loads and coordinate driver movements Manage real‑time operational changes Prepare and adjust driver rosters Approve driver timesheets Communicate ETAs and delivery updates to customers Maintain transport, delivery and VEP records Coordinate freight bookings (flights, ferry, road transport) Hatchery Administration (as required) Maintain flock records and traceability Support hatch scheduling and documentation Assist with operational data entry and record keeping Safety & Compliance Maintain BFM documentation and support audits Track driver compliance and medical requirements Maintain Work Diary sheets and training records Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and current Data & Reporting Maintain high‑accuracy data entry Assist with reconciliation of trips and operational records Provide consistent coverage and ownership of daily coordination What You’ll Bring 3–5 years’ administration experience (transport or logistics experience highly regarded) Strong organisational and time‑management skills Confident communication with internal teams and customers Intermediate computer literacy (Office suite business systems) Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset Why Join Us?
