Full-time Wall and Floor Tiler position available in Brookvale NSW 2100 T & M Pools Pty Ltd (trading as Aquify Pools) is a residential swimming pool construction company specialising in fibreglass pool supply, installation, renovation and associated outdoor construction works across New South Wales. Due to continued business growth and increasing demand for new pool installations, pool renovations, tiled pool surrounds, decorative waterline features and outdoor entertaining areas, Aquify Pools is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to undertake specialised tiling, waterproofing and finishing works across residential construction projects. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality tiled finishes, ensuring compliance with construction specifications and Australian Standards, and maintaining the company's reputation for premium pool and outdoor living projects. Position Responsibilities and Tasks Prepare surfaces and substrates for tiling works, including cleaning, levelling, screeding, waterproofing applications and installation preparation in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Measure, mark, cut and install ceramic, porcelain, glass mosaic, natural stone and other tile products to pool surrounds, waterline features, coping areas, steps, retaining walls, feature walls, outdoor entertaining areas and associated residential structures. Apply adhesives, grouts, sealants and waterproofing systems while ensuring correct alignment, spacing, adhesion, durability and aesthetic presentation of finished tiled surfaces. Interpret construction drawings, specifications and measurements to determine tile layouts, material requirements and installation methods. Conduct inspections of completed tiling works, identify and rectify defects, replace damaged tiles where required, and ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations. Undertake waterproofing and remedial tiling works associated with pool renovation and refurbishment projects. Coordinate with pool installers, construction supervisors and other trades to ensure tiling works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project schedules. Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, building regulations and company procedures throughout all stages of installation and finishing works. Qualifications and Skills Essential Relevant experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler within residential, commercial or construction environments. Knowledge of waterproofing systems, adhesives, grouts, sealants and tile installation techniques. Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Salary This is a full-time position with a remuneration package ranging from $79,500 to $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week. VANN0002
