We are seeking a compassionate and reliable support worker to provide person-centred support to a woman in her late 20s in the Clare region. This role is focused on enabling independence, supporting meaningful community engagement, and building a positive and trusting relationship. About the Role You will be supporting an individual with autism and physical considerations to live life in a way that is meaningful to her. This includes assisting her to engage in the community, attend appointments, and participate in activities she enjoys such as horse riding. You will enjoy going for long drives and a willingness to support her in achieving her personal goals. About You We are looking for someone who is: Experience in supporting individuals with autism, with a strong understanding of individual needs and communication styles. Confident in supporting to someone with physical limitations, ensuring safety while encouraging independence. Person-centred in approach, respecting choice, control and dignity. Reliable and comfortable with travel and community-based support. A strong communicator, able to build trust and rapport You will also bring a good sense of humour with a positive outlook, creativity and initiative to support engaging activities and a willingness to engage in long drives with the participant.
