ACH Group is seeking compassionate, capable and hands-on Multi Skilled Workers to support residents living at Highercombe, a modern residential care home located in Hope Valley. This is a rewarding frontline role where you will help create a warm, safe and home-like environment by delivering personal care and meaningful engagement. About Highercombe Located in Hope Valley, Highercombe provides a welcoming residential care environment featuring single rooms with ensuites, landscaped gardens, dedicated lifestyle spaces, and specialist dementia and memory support services within a recently redesigned, purpose-built facility. Person-directed care is central to the way the team partners with residents and their families, with a continued focus on dignity, independence, connection and creating a genuine sense of home. About the role As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will work as part of a consistent household team to support residents with daily living, personal care, engagement, meals and household activities. You will work within your scope of practice and level of competency, with day-to-day collaboration and guidance from Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, site leaders and hotel services team members. What you’ll do Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, transfers and mealtime assistance. Deliver care in line with each resident’s care and wellbeing plan, while promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect. Build positive relationships and support meaningful daily living through conversation, hobbies and social connection. Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with food safety requirements, customer preferences and dietary needs. Assist with medication only where trained, assessed as competent and formally credentialed. Work collaboratively with nursing, care, hotel services and site leadership teams to deliver safe, high-quality care. About you You are caring, practical and reliable, with a genuine commitment to supporting older people to live good lives. You enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in creating a welcoming home environment and understand the importance of delivering care that is safe, respectful and person directed. What you’ll bring Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing or equivalent. Medication assistance competency, such as HLTHS006, or willingness to obtain through inhouse training. Experience working in aged care or a similar care environment. Ability to support personal care, resident engagement, independence and everyday household tasks. Confidence with food preparation, cooking and cleaning duties in a household environment. Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
