Carbon provides exceptional service to our clients, and our Senior Accountants are at the forefront of this. You’ll be communicating with clients daily, as well as applying your skills and experience to solve their problems and elevate their business. Varied accounting experience is vital (particularly experience in public practice in Australia), as are strong communication and time management skills. In a single day you’ll be juggling multiple balls, but you will always have the support of our high performing team behind you. Requirements We're looking for someone with: A tertiary qualification in accounting and either completed or working towards your CA or CPA. Solid experience in an Australian accounting firm, preparing financial statements and tax returns. Confidence working directly with clients and enjoys building relationships. Experience with SMSFs would be an added bonus, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Strong working knowledge of Xero/XPM and the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex things simply, whether in writing or over the phone. A team mindset and experience collaborating with both local and offshore teams.
